Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By July 22, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 72,503+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (59,106) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,397+). 

By July 22, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 142,511.

By July 22, 2025, according to news report, 1,006 Palestinians who were killed, 6,960 who were injured, and 12,797*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza: Hospitals receive 77 martyrs, death toll climbs to 59,106

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 77 civilians, as well as 376 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Tuesday morning.

Accordingly, a total of 8,268 people have been killed and 30,470 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 59,106 martyrs, including 1,026 aid seekers who were killed at or near US-backed distribution points, the health ministry said.

The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 142,511 people, including 6,563 aid seekers.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

 Israeli occupation army kills, injures dozens of Palestinians in Gaza, amid ongoing genocide

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Tuesday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike on a gathering of civilians that killed one of them and injured others in the south of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

The Israeli army also targeted a group of civilians in Al-Buraij in central Gaza, killing two and injuring others.

An Israeli strike near the Abu 'Humaid rotary in Khan Younus claimed the lives of three civilians.

At dawn, the Israeli occupatin army bombed tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, killing 14 civilians and injuring dozens.

17 citizens were also killed and many others were injured in separate Israeli strikes on southern Gaza.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Ra'heel Rasras was pronounced dead at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younus as a result of her suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration.

Other people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near US-backed distribution points in southern and central Gaza.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

Five civilians, including three children, were killed Tuesday afternoon in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of people in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that the strike took place near 'Ali Bin Abi Talib Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing five people, including three children.

This brings the death toll in the Gaza Strip since dawn today to 43, including seven aid seekers.

Systematic torture of the Palestinian political prisoners, in the Israeli prisons: Broken ribs, electric shocks, starvation, and infectious diseases

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) has documented testimonies from inside Israeli prisons confirming the continued systematic crimes against Palestinian political prisoners, including shootings targeting limbs, broken ribs, electric shocks, deliberate starvation, and medical neglect.

This was presented in a briefing distributed by the PPS on Monday to journalists regarding “The situation of prisoners during the first half of July,” based on prison visits conducted by its lawyers.

It said that “The Israeli prison administration continues to commit systematic crimes against Palestinian prisoners and detainees, with increasing threats to the fate of more than 10,800 prisoners and detainees, including women and children.”

According to dozens of visits during the first half of July, testimonies from detainees revealed systematic torture that included broken ribs, extinguishing cigarettes on bodies, electric shocks, rubber bullets fired at limbs, deliberate starvation, outbreaks of scabies, and denial of medical treatment.

The PPS renewed its call on the international human rights system to “take effective steps to hold Israeli leaders accountable for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people, particularly prisoners and detainees.”

It also demanded “the imposition of sanctions that would remove Israel from the circle of international immunity, restore the real role of the human rights system, and end the paralysis that has afflicted it since the onset of the Israeli genocide.”

Since October 7, 2023, with US support, Israel has committed a genocide in the Gaza Strip involving killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and rulings from the International Court of Justice calling for its cessation.

The genocide has resulted in over 200,000 Palestinian casualties, including martyrs and wounded, the majority being children and women, as well as more than 11,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, a famine that claimed countless lives including children, and widespread devastation.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Palestinian teenager succumbs to wounds sustained by Israeli gunfire earlier tonight near Jineen

Jineen, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian teenager succumbed to wounds sustained earlier, on Tuesday evening, after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces during a military incursion into the town of Qabatya, south of Jineen, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that 16-year-old Ibraheem Majid 'Ali Nasr succumbed to critical injuries after being shot with live ammunition by the Israeli occupation forces in Qabatya.

According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Nasr was shot in the chest, and another young man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were transferred to a nearby hospital, where Nasr was later pronounced dead.

Local sources told WAFA that the Israeli occupation soldiers pursued the boy and opened fire directly at him while he was in one of the town’s streets, inflicting a life-threatening injury to his chest. He was taken to a hospital in Jineen, where he died of his wounds.

Israeli forces raided the town using several military vehicles from multiple entrances, positioned near the town’s roundabout, deployed foot patrols in the streets, and flew a drone overhead. They also raided a house, with no detentions reported.

Local sources reported that confrontations broke out between Israeli soldiers and defenseless citizens, during which the soldiers fired live bullets and rubber-coated metal bullets, shooting and injuring a teenager and a young man.

Nasr’s killing brings the number of Palestinians killed in Jineen governorate to 43 since the Israeli military launched its assault on the city and its refugee camp on January 21. Dozens more have been injured or detained.

Alongside its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and colonial settlers have intensified their attacks across the occupied West Bank, including in Jerusalem. Since October 7, 2023, nearly 1,000 Palestinians have been killed, around 7,000 injured, and over 17,000 detained, according to official figures.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap young Palestinian after beating him at checkpoint northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), July 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young Palestinian man Tuesday evening after severely beating him, at 'Hizma military checkpoint, northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stopped a vehicle carrying the young man at the checkpoint and forced him to get out before assaulting him with fists and batons, resulting in multiple injuries and bruises across his body.

The soldiers handcuffed the young man following the assault and transferred him by a military vehicle to an unknown destination. The checkpoint was temporarily closed, and civilians were prevented from passing or documenting the incident.

The occupation forces continue to intensify their repressive measures at checkpoints surrounding Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), including field detentions and physical abuse, as part of a systematic policy aimed at restricting Palestinian movement and terrorizing the population on a daily basis.

IOFs kidnap 14 Palestinians, steals money and jewelry, in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped at least 14 Palestinian citizens during raids in different West Bank areas last night and on Tuesday morning.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens during raids in the towns of Baitounya and Kafr Ni’ma.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian car at the entrance of Dair Jareer town in eastern Ramallah. No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attack.

In Bethlehem, the IOFs kidnapped three citizens from their homes in Za'tara town.

The IOFs also broke into and ransacked other homes in Za'tara town.

At least six other citizens were taken prisoners following the IOFs raids on homes in Al-Khaleel City and 'Immateen village in eastern Qalqilya.

In Jineen, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man from his home in Nazlat Zaid village and stole 1,500 shekels and gold jewelry valued at 29,000 shekels from another house.

Over 3,600 administrative detainees in Israeli prisons, including women and children - Prisoners institutions

RAMALLAH, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that the number of administrative detainees held in Israeli occupation prisons has surpassed 3,600 as of early July, including women and children.

in a statement issued today, the commission and PPS said Israeli occupation authorities today issued administrative detention orders against 25 Palestinian detainees.

The period of the detentions varied between three and six months.

Israel’s widely condemned policy of administrative detention allows detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals usually ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

“Israel‘s use of administrative detention blatantly violates the restrictions of international law. Israel carries it out in a highly classified manner that denies detainees the possibility of mounting a proper defense,” says Israeli human rights group B’Tselem.

Illegal Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli forces, bulldoze land west of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, bulldozed today Palestinian-owned land in the town of Bait 'Ula, west of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), and erected a tent on the site.

Local sources indicated that the illegal Israeli settlers began clearing land west of the town before setting up the tent, in an apparent attempt to seize the land for the illegal Israeli settlement expansion.

Residents of Bait 'Ula and neighboring areas in western Al-Khaleel (Hebron) continue to endure repeated attacks by colonists, including land demolition, uprooting of trees, and restrictions preventing landowners from accessing their property.

Illegal Israeli settlers torch two Palestinian cars in a West Bank village

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers burned two Palestinian cars and spray-painted racist graffiti in the West Bank village of Baiteen, east of Ramallah, at dawn Tuesday.

According to local sources, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers set two cars aflame and defaced a wall with racist graffiti in the village.

Those settlers also flew a camera drone over the village during their attack.

On Monday evening, settlers placed a number of mobile homes in Al-Makhrour area of Bait Jala town and Al-Khammar area of Batteer town as part of frenzied Israeli efforts to build more illegal settler outposts and seize more lands across the West Bank.

The new outpost was established near swaths of agricultural land belonging to Palestinian citizens.

Illegal Israeli settlers escalate attacks in northern Jordan Valley and Aree'ha (Jericho) area

Aree'ha (Jericho) / TOUBAS, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

 A group of the illegal Israeli settlers renewed their attacks Tuesday evening on Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley and Aree'ha (Jericho) area.

In Al-Mali'h community of the northern Jordan Valley, local sources reported that groups of colonists stormed the area and roamed through multiple parts of the community in a provocative manner, harassing residents. The area has witnessed repeated colonists’ incursions in recent days.

These attacks come just days after armed colonists assaulted residents’ homes in A-Mali'h, fired live bullets, and terrorized families. They also killed and stole dozens of livestock. The intensifying violence forced at least two Palestinian families to flee the area under duress last Friday.

Meanwhile, in the village of Al-'Auja, north of Aree'ha (Jericho), the illegal Israeli settlers carried out another round of provocative movements inside the village, moving between Palestinian homes and raiding nearby agricultural lands with their livestock.

'Hasan Mulai'hat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said the illegal Israeli settlers deliberately destroy property and livelihoods, fueling growing fears of a renewed escalation in attacks aimed at the Palestinian presence in the area.

He urged the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action to protect Bedouin and agricultural communities in the Jordan Valley from the threat of forced displacement.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime advances 25 new structural plans to expand the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) -

The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission announced today that the planning bodies affiliated with the Israeli occupation apartheid regime's so-called civil administration have, since the beginning of July, advanced 25 structural plans for the expansion of the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

The head of the commission, Mu-ayyad Sha'ban, said in a press release that this intensive advancement of structural plans for colonies is part of a race against time to impose facts on the ground in Palestine, including expanding existing colonies, regularizing and legalizing colonial outposts, and tightening restrictions on the lives of Palestinian citizens through measures that prevent access to their lands.

Sha'ban added that the reviewed plans resulted in the submission of 10 structural plans for future approval, while the authorities approved 15 new plans.

 He clarified that the approved plans aim to build 899 new colonial units, while the submitted structural plans involve a total of 586 new colonial units awaiting subsequent approval.

Sha'ban noted that the occupying power is continuing to impose facts on the Palestinian geography, which will tear apart Palestinian land and impose a system of enclaves to eliminate the possibility of a Palestinian state in the future.

He affirmed that what the occupying power is doing on the ground constitutes grave violations of the most basic rules of human rights, not only infringing upon the resources and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people but also persistently assaulting international community decisions, United Nations resolutions, and declared legal positions on the matter.

Israeli occupation forces raid Palestinian Village after an illegal Israeli settler accuses woman of assault

RAMALLAH, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Tuesday following a complaint by an illegal Israeli settler who accused a Palestinian woman, Fatima Abu Na'eem, of assault.

Palestinian activist Rabee Abu Na'eem told WAFA that the colonist deliberately summoned Israeli soldiers to the Abu Na'eem hamlet, allegedly fabricating charges against the woman as part of a broader strategy to intimidate residents and force them off their land.

He stressed that this is not the first time residents have faced harassment by settlers and occupation forces, which he described as tactics of forced displacement.

 Israeli occupation forces seize bulldozer and trucks in northern West Bank

Jineen, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday confiscated a bulldozer and three trucks from a quarry in the town of El-Yamoun, west of Jineen in the northern West Bank.

According to local sources, the forces raided the town, deploying heavily in its western outskirts before storming a stone crusher site and seizing the vehicles. The forces later withdrew from the area.

Since January 11, Israeli forces have intensified incursions into towns and villages across the Jineen Governorate, amid ongoing aggression targeting Jenin city and its refugee camp. The raids have included home invasions, property seizures, arbitrary detentions, and citizen arrests.

Israeli occupation forces deploy military reinforcements in western Toulkarm, intensify Raids

RAMALLAH, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday deployed heavy military reinforcements to the western neighborhood of Toulkarm, with a particular concentration along Qaqoun Street, amid a large-scale military presence.

According to WAFA’s correspondent, heavily armed soldiers blocked the movement of residents and vehicles, preventing them from passing through and threatening them at gunpoint.

Troops raided several commercial shops, detaining shop owners and conducting on-the-spot interrogations, while an Israeli reconnaissance drone hovered overhead, heightening fears among local residents.

The escalation comes as the city and its refugee camps endure ongoing Israeli aggression for the 177th consecutive day. Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps remain under strict military siege, with forces continuing home demolitions and deliberately setting fires to residential buildings, deepening the humanitarian crisis in the area.

Palestinian forced to self-demolish her home in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) town of Soor Bahir

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Sunday, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian resident of the town of Soor Bahir, southeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), was forced today to demolish her own home after receiving a demolition order from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem citing unpermitted construction as a pretext.

Local sources said that resident Sub'hiya Shuqairat was forced today to self-demolish her home or else the Israeli municipality will demolish it and obligate her to pay the exorbitant costs. This came after she received an administrative order giving her only a few days to carry out the demolition.

Two Israelis detained briefly in Belgium over Gaza war crimes

Two Israeli occupation soldiers were briefly detained for questioning by Belgian police over war-crime claims filed by a human rights group.

The soldiers, who were on holiday, were detained after rights group Hind Rajab Foundation told Belgian authorities they may be responsible for “grave international crimes, including war crimes and genocide” in Gaza.

The federal prosecutor’s office in the country said it had “asked the police to locate the two people named in the complaint and to interview them” as they attended the "Tomorrow land festival" in the country, but it did not elaborate further.

UN Secretary-General Guterres warns of rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, describes situation as ‘horror show’

NEW YORK, July 22, 20205 (WAFA) - UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday warned of the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, describing it as a "horror show" marked by mass devastation and starvation.

"We need look no further than the horror show in Gaza - with a level of death and destruction without parallel in recent times," Guterres told the UN Security Council during a debate on multilateralism and peaceful dispute resolution, as reported by Anadolu Ajansı.

"Malnourishment is soaring. Starvation is knocking on every door. And now we are seeing the last gasp of a humanitarian system built on humanitarian principles," he said, adding: "That system is being denied the conditions to function. Denied the space to deliver. Denied the safety to save lives."

He denounced Israel's military operations, stressing that "with Israeli military operations intensifying and new displacement orders issued in Dair El-Bala'h, in central Gaza Strip, devastation is being layered upon devastation."

Guterres also noted that the situation in Gaza reflects a broader failure to uphold international obligations, as "conflict is raging, international law is being trampled, and hunger and displacement are at record levels" in regions from Ukraine and Sudan to Haiti and Myanmar.

The UN chief condemned recent attacks on UN facilities in Gaza, and said: "I am appalled that UN premises have been struck – among them facilities of the UN Office for Project Services and the World Health Organization, including WHO’s main warehouse."

"These premises, like all civilian sites, are inviolable and must be protected under international humanitarian law – without exception," Guterres said.

Stressing the "clear connection between international peace and multilateralism," Guterres said the UN was founded 80 years ago "to safeguard humanity from the scourge of war."

The UN chief continued by urging the Security Council to overcome internal divisions, reform to reflect today's geopolitical realities, and enhance its inclusivity and cooperation with regional partners.

He also called on all member states to uphold international law and reaffirm their commitment to peace through diplomacy as the UN marks its 80th anniversary.

OIC Secretary-General stresses humanitarian crisis in the Gaza constitutes a war crime and a stain on humanity

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), 'Husain Ibraheem Taha, delivered a speech at the opening session of the open-ended emergency meeting of the OIC Executive Committee at the level of Permanent Representatives regarding the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the targeting of holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly the Ibraheemi Mosque in Hebron.

The meeting was held at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters today, Tuesday.

The Secretary-General stated that this meeting was held to discuss a new Israeli attack on the Islamic identity of Palestinian cities, represented by the withdrawal of administrative and historical powers over the Ibraheemi Mosque from the Palestinian side. “This attack represents one episode in a series of Israeli aggressions against the Ibraheemi Mosque since the occupation of the city on June 8, 1967.”

Taha affirmed that the OIC rejects and warns against the danger of the Israeli occupation’s plans aimed at imposing full control over the Ibraheemi Mosque, Judaizing it, and altering its identity and historical landmarks.

He added that the OIC also condemns the blatant attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the bombing of churches and mosques in Gaza City in flagrant violation of human values and international conventions. He noted that all these measures aimed at Judaizing the city of Jerusalem and isolating it from its Palestinian surroundings are illegitimate and invalid under international law and United Nations resolutions.

In his address before the permanent representatives of the OIC Member States, the Secretary-General emphasized that the continuation of this unprecedented humanitarian crisis constitutes a war crime, a stain on the entire humanity, and a violation of the principles of justice and human dignity.

He called for the need to multiply international efforts to pressure the Israeli occupation in order to achieve a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, open all crossings, allow the entry of humanitarian aid, and ensure a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

He also emphasized the need to enable the Palestinian government to assume its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip and begin the reconstruction process.

This emergency meeting of the OIC’s Executive Committee, at the level of permanent representatives, is being held amid the unprecedented worsening of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing crimes of genocide, starvation, and forced displacement perpetrated by the Israeli occupation and the escalation of Israeli attacks on both Islamic and Christian places of worship.

Arab League Council urges lifting Gaza blockade, calls for UN Security Council session to compel Israel to allow aid entry

CAIRO, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent representatives today called on the international community to take immediate action to halt the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, recognize the unfolding catastrophe and famine, and break the blockade imposed on the enclave.

In a statement issued following an emergency meeting held at the request of the State of Palestine, the Council stressed the need to ensure the urgent and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The Council also called on the two Arab non-permanent members of the UN Security Council—Algeria and Somalia—to continue efforts aimed at convening an emergency Security Council session to adopt a binding resolution requiring Israel to lift the blockade and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.

The Council further expressed its unequivocal rejection of the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” and any similar mechanisms, deeming them devoid of both legal and ethical legitimacy. It stated that such mechanisms serve as a humanitarian cover to execute aggressive policies that transform aid into instruments of repression, starvation and death traps. The Council held the sponsoring parties fully accountable under international law for the crimes perpetrated through these mechanisms.

It affirmed its solidarity with UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese and other officials of international organizations who have come under increasing pressure and harassment as a result of their positions in support of the Palestinian people and their exposure of the genocide crimes committed by Israel, the occupying power.

The Council welcomed the joint statement issued by 28 countries, which included a clear demand for ending the aggression, halting the policy of extermination, and immediately ending the starvation policy imposed on Gaza.

The Council called on the international community to take immediate action under international humanitarian law to halt the aggression, recognize the unfolding catastrophe and famine in the Gaza Strip, break the blockade imposed on the enclave, ensure the delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid, and activate international accountability and justice mechanisms for Israeli crimes.

The Council condemned the continued punitive economic and financial measures taken by Israel, the occupying power, against the State of Palestine, including the withholding of Palestinian tax revenues in a clear attempt to undermine the functioning of the Palestinian government and cripple its ability to fulfill its obligations to the Palestinian people.

It called for immediate international pressure to release the withheld tax funds and to provide an urgent and transparent financial safety net, in accordance with agreed mechanisms, to enable the State of Palestine to carry out its vital responsibilities toward its people.

The Council further emphasized the urgent need for the immediate recognition of the State of Palestine as a legal and moral step that contributes to protecting the rights of the Palestinian people.

UK Foreign Secretary calls for immediate end of war in Gaza

LONDON, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) -

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy affirmed today that the war in Gaza must end immediately, announcing his country's allocation of £60 million to support humanitarian and medical efforts in the strip.

In his address to Parliament, Lammy criticized the new Israeli aid delivery system, describing it as inhumane and dangerous, forcing civilians, including children, to scramble unsafely for life's essentials, leading to heavy human casualties.

Lammy explained that the Israeli army has forced Palestinians to displace from 86 percent of the Gaza Strip, leaving approximately two million people trapped in an area no larger than 20 square miles.

He noted that displacement does not preserve civilian safety but rather exposes them to danger.
